Over the festive holiday season in December 2022, the super-cute Japanese retail store KENJI ran a raffle and prize draw to fundraise for our charity.
The raffle included soft toy plushie giveaways and the lucky winners received a copy of the book The Power of Chowa – written by the late founder of our charity – Akemi Tanaka.
KENJI store in the Arndale shopping centre in Manchester raised £212! We are very grateful for their fundraising efforts and generous donation. These funds will go towards meet ups with the orphans and survivors of the Tohoku disaster this year in 2023.
