Aid For Japan is helped by volunteers who help raise funds both at home and abroad. Chris Pickering is taking part in a marathon in Japan to show his support.
Chris lives and works in Niseko, Japan and explains why he’s fundraising for Aid For Japan: “Through my company, HTM, we support local charities including two orphanages and a group called “Fukushima Kids”, children who were displaced or orphaned as a result of the Tsunami in 2011″.
“Aid For Japan is a great little charity from the UK who work to support the children who were orphaned as a result of the Tsunami and I wanted to give all my friends and colleagues from all over the world the chance to help too!”
On 23rd August Chris will run the marathon leg of the Ironman Triathlon Japan in Toya, Japan. 7 days later he will run the Hokkaido Marathon in Sapporo. Please help show your support for Chris – and help raise funds for Aid For Japan!
